The RCEP-NYCU had the honor of being invited to participate in The Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting (JITMM) 2020 Virtual Conference scheduled on December 15, 2020. We then organized a session that focuses on “The Research and Control for COVID-19 in Taiwan”.
The forum was chaired by Professor Guo Xusong, and it featured keynote speeches by Professor Zhang Wenzhen, who examined government COVID-19 prevention policies from the perspective of human rights and law. Professor Yang Yaoke presented the current situation of the pandemic. Professor Shuai Honghan discussed in detail the application of AI technology in epidemic prevention strategies, and Professor Lien Jiaen focused on Taiwan’s vaccine development. The forum aimed to facilitate the exchange of Taiwan’s epidemic prevention strategies with the international community.
